Lunch & Learn: Under Pressure - Tips for Tackling Work-Related Stress
Monday 31st October 2016 - 11.45 am - 1.00 pm, Dumyat Conference Room, Scion House
Stress is a part of life, but what can we do about it?
Has your work/life balance become a thing of the past?
As part of World Mental Health week Stirling University Innovation Park is delighted to present in partnership with Artlink Central a workshop focusing on something which many people can relate to: work-related stress. Feeling under pressure at work is common, yet it's rarely discussed or addressed.
Join Alison Mackay, Health Promotion Officer at NHS Forth Valley for a free lunch and workshop which will cover the following topics:
- Stress; the common signs and symptoms
- How to identify work-related stress
- What support is available from the NHS
As part of a wider group of events in relation to the Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival, this workshop seeks to get more people to think about mental health, its impact on you, your wellbeing, your family, your friends, your staff and colleagues, and to think and challenge stigma.
