Description

The Power of Utopic Imagining

Are you or your organization in transition or do you want to be? Are you working on how to engage with change with your well-being intact and seeking new outcomes to old problems? Times of transition can be chaotic and unsettling. They can also be empowering and fertile if we have the tools we need to engage.

One of the central tasks of our time is creating conditions for personal and social regeneration and for awakening imagination and hope for everyone. In this interactive mini-playshop we’ll become temporarily unconfined by the difficulties we face and generate creative conversations to locate and nourish what is best in our lives through taking a stance of curiosity and wonder. Neuroscience has confirmed the dominant role of visualization in human cognition. Just as a plant orients to the sun, we evolve toward the most positive image we hold of ourselves. This heliotropic process is aided through relaxation, asking the right questions, and finding new metaphors to engage our imaginations and help us take actions towards positive and lasting change.

Utopic Imagining is a tool for liberation and is useful for leaders, educators, parents, and anyone who desires to become more resilient and empowered.

You will receive:

  • Techniques for staying calm, engaged and resilient.
  • Tools for visioning.
  • Tips on generating creative and inclusive conversations with yourself and others.
  • A free, downloadable guided visualization to take with you.
