Lunch & Learn: Sales 101
Wed, June 21, 2017, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM CDT
We are all selling; that is, we are constantly trying to influence and persuade others through our communications and actions. This is especially true if you are trying to make a living! Whether you are a freelancer or an entrepreneur, or just getting into sales, you’ll want some fundamental skills to be more successful. This class aims to equip you with a foundation in sales, which then you can apply to your own particular situation or business. Consider it the “nuts and bolts” every salesperson should know!
With only 60 minutes, this will be a general survey of sales topics and not in-depth training into one particular scenario or issue. That being said, the instructor will want to work with real-life examples and so hopes that attendees come with questions and topics that are relevant to them. Ultimately, the attendee can expect to come away with:
- Debunking sales as a bad word
- Knowing my customer better and how to pursue them
- Systems for tracking opportunities and winning more business
- How I should approach sales on a day-to-day basis
- How I can better pitch my product or service
- How sales and marketing can work better together
