As wedding season kicks into high-gear, learn about 17th-century wedding customs for the Pilgrims and Wampanoag people! The Pilgrims held weddings of many styles, and depending on the social status of the couple it could range from town feast to doorstep ceremony. Modern Wampanoag weddings incorporate many historic traditions. Join our 17th-century wedding experts and be sure to bring your significant other. Wedding inspiration abounds, and if you feel brave enough, practice a vow exchange 17th-century style!

What can I bring into the event?
You may bring a bagged lunch or snack to enjoy while you experience the lecture series. Our Plentiful Cafe is open April-December.

You do not have to bring your printed ticket to the event. You may give your name to the Event Facilitator at check-in.
