Brain Training – Thinking Like an Entrepreneur
Often when thinking about businesses it is easy to forget about the mind behind it. The mentality and mindset of entrepreneurs and business owners is key to starting up and continuing a business. Brain Training will delve into the mind of an entrepreneur and looks at ways to encourage entrepreneurial thinking.
To host this workshop we have three great speakers:
Sebastian is the founder of The Relief Café. This looks to get more people talking about mental health and tries to reduce the stigma of it by giving student’s a creative outlet for expression.
Sebastian will provide an introduction on what it is like to embark on the entrepreneurial journey. He will talkabout the common themes he has encountered on this journey, including those that he has noticed in himself, and some insights into the people he has worked with.
Andrew is the co-founder of Journal Life, whose mission is to help people focus their thoughts to help lead a purposeful and fulfilling life. Journal Life is a place to share their knowledge on journaling and also create a community around this important habit and how it can boost all of our capacities through personal development.
He is currently writing a book on the obstacles faced and lessons learned whilst cycling 4000km solo around Europe, and will transfer these experiences to the work place to talk about how personal development and a strong mind set can help an individual achieve success in the business world.
Tim is the founder of Dot Coach, a social enterprise that endeavours to use the previously taboo ‘life coach’ as a means to unpack some of the stress around finding what it is we truly want to do and how we can achieve this more effectively. This approach of using life coaches helps to focus one’s thoughts and can demonstrate how a strong focus can be transferred to an entrepreneurial approach to business.
There will be an opportunity following all three presentations to have a quick Q&A and have a discussion about facing obstacles in work and how people have dealt with them.
