Event Information
About this Event
This thirty-three-year prequel to the Mayflower crossing begins in London, England, and follows Pastor Robinson’s congregation across the North Sea, eventually to the university city of Leiden, the Netherlands, where the congregation seeks refuge for more than a decade. Travel back to the 16th and 17th centuries, with William Brewster, John Carver, and Pastor Robinson as your guides. Connected to the fictional London family of Master Printer Nicholas Okes and the printing press, you will experience through risk, relationships and romance, the rich details and events that led up to the decision for some, to venture to the New World. Author Jen Sinsigalli will speak about her book and research then stay for a book signing.
