Lunch & Learn, 20180615, investor pitch
Event Information
Description
Speakers: Ken Hubbard
Presentation Topic: What Investors Want From an Investor Pitch
Synopsis: The old adage, “You have to kiss a bunch of frogs to find a prince,” is the perfect image of raising capital. And it doesn’t matter what stage your company is in at the time. But before you get to the kiss, you must give them a pitch. Whether it’s at a cocktail party, coffee shop, or in front of a banker or group of investors, it’s always the same information. So, proficiency is the key. Investors need key information “messaged” in a concise manner to solidify a picture in their mind built on risk mitigation and execution confidence. Investors also know how to poke simple holes in a pitch. Learn how to look at a pitch from the investors’ view so you have the utmost chance of success.
