Please join Center of the American Experiment on Wednesday, February 22nd at the Hilton Hotel for a lunch forum with Diana Furchtgott-Roth who will be speaking about her book Disinherited: How Washington Is Betraying America's Young.
Diana Furchtgott-Roth is a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, director of MarketWatch.com and Tax Notes. Diana also currently serves on the transition team for president-elect Donald J. Trump.
Diana Furchtgott-Roth’s book, Disinherited: How Washington Is Betraying America’s Young, co-authored by Jared Meyer, takes an in depth look into why today’s millennials will have a more difficult time achieving success than young people had in the past. They argue that, “this is the first generation of young Americans that our government systematically disfavors and the first generation of Americans whose prospects are lower than those of their parents.”
Blake Masters, co-author with Peter Thiel of Zero To One says, “The Boomers inherited a world of possibility; they are about to bequeath a mountain of debt. But the future should belong to the young, and this book shows it’s not too late to change course.”
This lunch will kick off the Center's 2017 quarterly lunch series. The over-arching theme of our forums this year will be, Why liberal policies are bad for young people.
