Effective leaders possess the ability to envision improvements and inspire others to strive towards a brighter future. They prioritize the needs of their team while working towards realizing their vision. However, simply motivating people is not sufficient; successful leaders must also be empathetic and establish meaningful connections with others. In this discussion, we will explore the characteristics and actions that foster impactful leadership and management.
By the end of this workshop participants will be able to:
- Analyze how leadership styles and types comprise an ever-growing list as the search for the ideal leader continues unabated
- Differentiate between leadership and management
- Illustrate skills associated with leadership and represent those abilities that are acquired through education and practice.
- Compare and contrast discussions on personal qualities, skills were highly interrelated with interpersonal characteristics.
