Meditation, in a variety of forms, is a technique can be used to create a level of mindful awareness that can reduce stress and improve health outcomes. VCU Massey Cancer Center invites all cancer patients, survivors and caregivers to join Dr. Jo Robins at our Stony Point location for a discussion on the benefits of meditation. Participants will enjoy an overview of several forms of meditation and learn basic mediation techniques that they can use at home. After the presentation, there will be time for questions and discussion with the instructor and fellow participants.
The event is free, but advanced registration is required.
