Jerry Kornblau will provide a presentation on "Sizing your Market, Identifying Your Most Likely Customers and How Much They Will Pay for your Product”.
Synopsis: In this session, Jerry Kornblau will review tips and tricks to help start-ups: quantify the potential market for a product, research prospective customers, determine their likelihood to buy, and set the optimal price to avoid charging too little or too much.
With years of experience in strategic planning, market research, marketing and business development, Jerry Kornblau has helped large companies and start-ups across 25 different industries to launch new businesses and grow more effectively. As President and co-founder of Korsan Management Services, Jerry serves as the “Explorer Scout” for his clients, addressing their critical issues and helping to build their businesses. Jerry's specialties include helping clients quantify their market opportunities, determine customer requirements and likelihood to purchase a new product and develop successful go-to-market plans.
Jerry’s recent work has covered robotics, augmented reality headsets, sensing devices (IoT), display technologies, web and mobile-based apps, energy management, and medical devices. He has held previous executive positions at Epson America, Lantronix, EPS, and RiverOne, in addition to working at LEK Consulting and Procter & Gamble. Additionally, Jerry also mentors start-up companies at several incubators and accelerators, including the Cove at UCI Applied Innovation. Jerry is a graduate of Wharton and UC Berkeley and enjoys staying active. When he is not working, he can be found at a boot camp, hiking, cooking or planning his next international travel adventure.
