We are Lunar Ticks

Lunar Ticks are an eclectic Improvisational/Alternative Rock band from Chicago, IL. The band is influenced by the songwriting and studio experimentation of 90's and 2000's innovative Alternative/Indie rock bands like Wilco, My Morning Jacket, The Flaming Lips, Ween, Yo La Tengo, Pavement, and Dr. Dog, and fuses it with genre-bending, progressive musicality, and exploratory improvisations in the vein of The Grateful Dead, Phish, and Umphrey's McGee.

Lunar Ticks are equally at home on a bill with a folk singer, punk band, free jazz ensemble, you name it. Each setlist is formed from their diverse and expansive song list of originals and covers; debuting new material at almost every show. Extended improvisational passages can turn on a dime or meditate and unfurl in unexpected ways. Lunar Ticks aim to create a unique and memorable experience every time they pick up their instruments.

Arbor Creek

Arbor Creek is a four piece, Blues-Infused, Rock ‘n Roll band hailing from the suburbs of Chicago, IL.

Arbor Creek brings a fresh spin to what some may call a dying breed. They draw inspiration from the likes of Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Allman Brothers Band while adding a contemporary flavor - what’s old is new again. They offer the perfect blend of hooky polished songwriting, improvisation, and blistering solos.

In a live setting; the boys bring power, energy, and contagious enthusiasm that leaves you wanting more. They throw the party you want to go to! Also performing with the likes of Eric Krasno, Brandon “Taz” Neideraurer, and Daniel Danato - they are no stranger to the club/festival scene.

Following their self-titled debut album, Arbor Creek’s sophomore “Thanks for Wading” (coming Fall 2022) is their most mature release yet. If you enjoy authentic, raw, and passionate Rock ‘n Roll music that is reminiscent of the past, while illuminating a hopeful future for Rock fans of all ages- this is the band for you.
