​Zonta Club of Fort Myers Area presents the first annual LUNAFEST, showcasing women filmmakers. The festival features a number of short films by, for, and about women.

LUNAFEST is a traveling film festival begun in 2000 by Kit Crawford, founder of LUNA nutritional bars, to highlight female filmmakers and to raise awareness about women’s issues and bring women together.

The program benefits the Zonta Foundation of Southwest Florida, which distributes grants to local organizations that empower women locally and internationally, and Chicken and Egg Pictures, that supports nonfiction filmmakers whose works bring about social change. Tickets sold at the door will be $25.00.
