Event Details

The Lunacy Music and Arts Festival is a Santa Barbara based fullmoon celebration.  Featuring local as well as nationally established artists of all genres, we encourage open-souce crowdbased participation.  For a short time only we're offering three day passes at our 'Moonrise' ticket price of $115 to reward those who support us from the very beginning.

Parking

You must have a parking pass to park your vechicle, unless you are carpooling (read below). Please purchase a parking pass in addition to your festival pass.

The "Parking - Campground" pass allows you to bring your vehicle in to the camping areas and park next to your campsite. There are a very limited number of these so our wonderful festival does not turn in to a parking lot. Please try limit the numbers of cars needed at your camp by coordinating with friends and fellow camp members.

The "Parking - Main Parking Lot" is our primary form of parking and is located a very short walk from the festival grounds. We will have shuttles running all day until the gate closes between the parking lot and the campgrounds. Any camping equipment can be loaded on to the shuttle and brought to your campground. Do not drive your car in to the campground to unload. A parking pass is required to park for one, two, and three day festival passes.

Carpool Parking

To get free carpool parking, simply show up! If you have not purchased a parking pass, you will have to pay with cash on site. If you plan on carpooling and plans change closer to event time, please purchase a parking pass online before the event or pay with cash at the door.

FAQs

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

This is an 18+ event.  A government issued ID will be required at the entrance.  Attendees under 18 years old will only be permitted with the presence a legal gaurdian.  Parents or legal gaurdians must fill out the 'youth ticket application' before youth tickets can be purchased.  Youth ticket application coming soon.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Parking fees for vehicles with 3 or more participants will be waved.  All other vehicles must pay a $15 parking fee to encourage carpooling.

What if I bought a car parking pass but now have three people in my vehicle, can I get a refund on parking?

Unfotunately, we cannot refund car parking passes because it would be very difficult to track every potential change. We do appreciate your attempt to carpool and very much encourage you to do so anyways.

I can't go!  Can I get a refund on my ticket?

Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds for tickets.  You can change the name on your ticket and give it to a friend, though!  Remember, this is an 18+ event.

Will Tickets be Sold at the Door?

Please purchase tickets early as we do expect a sold out event. The venue has a limited capacity and door sales will be offered depending on attendence. If we do sell out, no tickets will be offered at the door.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

You can bring:

  • Costumes
  • Camping Gear
  • Gifts
  • Dancing Shoes

You can't bring:

  • Alcohol
  • Weapons
