On April 13th a collective of Bloomington creatives are hosting Lumiere Ball, an evening of art, performance, and conversation to raise funds and awareness for mental health. The ball will specifically benefit Mental Health America of Monroe County and Amethyst House.

Lumiere Ball is a celebration of life and an opportunity to breakdown stigma associated with all aspects of mental health. To remove stigma and create awareness of its prevalence and affect on our community we must acknowledge, validate, confront, and converse about mental health. through vulnerability and dialogue, we can create connections and a more supportive community.

Bloomington creatives, friends of the community, and businesses have joined forces to create an interactive experience to shine light on this topic. The Lumiere Ball features an artist showcase that illuminates the topic of mental health to create awareness of its impact on our community, while raising funds for local organizations that offer mental health resources to support individuals year-round.
