About this Event
The Movement is a series hosted by lululemon NYC ambassadors who are both leaders in sweat and the causes they champion. Through The Movement we aim to build a more conscious community.
Join us for a 60 minute Yoga class led by City Point Ambassador Tonie Warner, creator of Yuja Soul, a dedicated space that offers yoga to Black Womxn. Tonie is also part-owner of The Connective Studio, a teacher-operated cooperative which provides sustainable livelihood for movement professionals, by challenging and raising the wellness industry standards for equality, anti-racism, and accessibility.
All proceeds from this event will be donated directly to The Loveland Foundation.
The Loveland Foundation Mission
Established in 2018 by Rachel Cargle in response to her widely successful birthday wish fundraiser, Therapy for Black Women and Girls . The Loveland Foundation brings opportunity and healing to communities of color, and especially to Black women and girls. Through fellowships, residency programs, listening tours, and more, ultimately we hope to contribute to both the empowerment and the liberation of the communities we serve.
