Notes: This LTR is aimed at more seasoned trail runners and those who are very comfortable running for over 2hrs at a steady pace on every changing terrain. If you've not previously been on one of our longer runs please contact us for more information on the fitness requirements to book onto this type of run.
Route: Heading out from Bolton-by-Bowland's Car Park and Information Centre the route passes Skirden Beck before heading through Forest Becks, over Thorny Hill, past Hyles Moor and into Paythorne. From here it will pass Castle Haugh Hill and onto the Ribble Way through Gisburne Park, into Gisburn and then down through Meadow Well. The highlight of the route is negotiating a low level footpath that takes us through the River Ribble. Finally it will pass the impressive Bolton Hall Farm before crossing Skirden Beck and finishing back at the Information Centre.
