A New Performance Series of New Music, Dance, Video, and Interdisciplinary Art

LQQK, The Way I Look is the debut visual EP by the artist José Rivera, Jr. Stereotypes of masculinity and the illusion of “fitting in” metamorphose as style, still and moving image, dance, and music move toward a queer future for all. A selection of the music and video will premiere in concert at The Glove in Bushwick, Brooklyn, as part of the 2019 Exponential Festival. Featuring José Rivera Jr. (New Museum, YouTube), Breeanah Breeden (Proteo Media), and Benedict Nguyen (Whitney, Issue Project Room).
