Low Tea and High Conversation
New York, NY
Hotel Particulier is delighted to host the renowned conversation series from the Oxford Muse, and invites you to the next installment of “low tea and high conversation”.
You will participate in something unique: a curated conversation with someone you have never met, or know only vaguely. Developed out of the University of Oxford, you will be given a menu of conversation with specially curated questions.
Our resident host, Alex Grigor (Oxford Muse Foundation), will introduce the concept and explain how to proceed. You will get to know a stranger well, but more compelling is that you will learn a lot about yourself.
While you converse, you will be served a delicious “low tea" - traditionally, but mistakenly, known as the luxurious “high tea".
There are limited tickets - $45, which includes, low-high tea, event, tax and gratuity.(sorry, no door sales, as we have to curate and prepare for each person coming).
Bring a partner, friends, or show up alone - everyone will meet a stranger.
Curb your cynicism, and come - be brave. It will be unlike anything you have done before!
Hotel Particulier is located at 6 Grand Street between Varick street and 6th avenue.
