Join us for a special day focused on Legal issues for Adults with Disabilities.
Low Down on Law Day is back!
On April 29th, 2017, we will hold our fifth "Low Down on Law" Day, focused on law issues that affect adults with developmental disabilities. David Lillesand is coming to speak about SSI and government benefits, provide tips and suggestions about how to maximize the ABLE account with the use of a special needs trust, attorney Carlos Lindo is coming to talk about how Medicaid estate recovery works, Jenn Hargon Sikora will be speaking about ABLE United, and we will be talking about guardianship/guardian advocacy, estate planning and special needs trust generally. Judge Margaret Hudson is coming to talk about guardianship/guardian advocacy in Volusia County.
Breakfast and Lunch will be provided at this event and information packets.
Childcare will NOT be provided.
Registration is $15, but refundable if you attend the entire event and email email@example.com with a request afterward.
