Love’s Labour’s Lost is a contemporary, musicalized version of one of Shakespeare’s earliest comedies, and has music by Michael Friedman and a book by Alex Timbers. Faithfully adapted from the original text, yet irreverently devised for today’s audiences, Love’s Labour’s Lost is a coming-of-age romp over-flowing with witty word-play, musical pastiche, and bold declarations of love. The musical is performed by students in the Theatre Arts programs of the College with direction and choreography by Christine O’Grady, and musical direction by Ryan Touhey.
Performances at the York Theatre (619 Lexington Ave. at 54th Street in St. Peters Church): March 22-25 at 8:00, March 26 at 2:00.
