Description

Join transformational coach, author and speaker Katherine Baldwin and yoga and meditation teacher Jane Morgan Jones for a restorative and uplifting mind, body and spirit workshop in Bournemouth. This is a small group workshop (maximum 20 spaces). Lunch and teas and coffees are included in your ticket price. The workshop is open to women and men. The focus of the workshop is on how to love and accept ourselves, our bodies and our minds. We'll explore self-love, self-acceptance and self-compassion. We'll learn to increase our self-worth, self-esteem, self-confidence and body confidence. We'll connect to ourselves on a deep level and tap into our intuition. We'll cherish our physical bodies through dynamic yet gentle Hatha yoga. And we'll still our busy minds through healing meditation.

This workshop is for you if you'd like to learn to deepen your connection to yourself, to your body and to your mind. Self-compassion, mindfulness and practices like yoga help us to build solid emotional and physical foundations so that we can live calmer, more productive lives and form healthy relationships with others.

Katherine and Jane will share how these practices support them in their lives.

About your workshop leaders

Katherine Baldwin is a transformational coach, motivational speaker, author of How to Fall in Love - a 10-Step Journey to the Heart and the creator of the How to Fall in Love retreats. Her focus is on helping others to love themselves, create lives that they love and find and form healthy and loving relationships. Katherine leads from the heart, with honesty and vulnerability. She shares her own struggles, creating a healing environment that encourages group honesty and facilitates self-awareness. Katherine has been on her own personal development journey for 15+ years, during which time she has recovered from an eating disorder, learned to love herself and changed self-destructive relationship patterns in order to form a healthy and loving partnership with her now fiancé.

Jane Morgan Jones practises Zen yoga, which is a dynamic yet gentle form of exercise that incorporates mindfulness and meditation. Jane aims to help people heal their minds and bodies through the practise of zen yoga, teaching compassion towards themselves, others and nature. She has spent the last 30 years studying various spiritual disciplines and applies these unique teachings to her lessons. Jane is also an experienced choreographer and a 3rd Dan Black Belt Martial Arts Instructor (4 times British Karate Champion and World Championship Silver Medalist).

What's included in my ticket price?

Your ticket includes mid-morning and mid-afternoon teas and coffees and a simple lunch of soup, bread and salad. Please inform the organisers of any dietary requirements.

Can I stay overnight at the hotel?

You are welcome to stay overnight before or after the workshop or both. The hotel is offering a reduced room rate for workshop attendees. Double/twin £76 (reduced from £92) or £71 for a solo occupancy room. Please contact Emma Coleman at events@quantumhotelgroup.co.uk or on 01202 405010 to book.

Is parking available on site?

Free parking is available at the hotel for workshop attendees, assuming there are enough spaces. Otherwise, parking is available on the street for a fee.

What should I wear?

Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for yoga and meditation.

What should I bring?

Please bring a yoga mat if you have one. Mats will also be available.
