About this event
"This Valentine’s day, LOVE YOUR LIFE. We are removing loneliness and commercialism from the holiday, and focusing on the most important kind of love: self love. Instead of sitting at home, head out to "Love Your Life" and CELEBRATE YOURSELF.
Grab a friend, or bring your children, and join us for a Valentine's evening like no other. When you look good, you feel good, so get dressed up and take a walk down our red carpet to our portrait wall, where you and your children or girlfriends will have free photos taken. The children will then join our team of volunteers for their own fun (and pizza!), while the ladies enjoy a delicious catered dinner. During dinner, you will be inspired by powerful female speakers and connect with other local single moms. Bid on self-care items in our raffle, then reconnect with your little one(s) at the end of the night for dessert and a special surprise.
Proceeds benefit Single Mom Strong. However, this event is open to ALL women- not just single moms! So, if you are looking for a positive, empowering option for Valentine's Day, come celebrate with us.
Single Moms, a limited number of special sponsored seats will be available through contests hosted throughout the month of January on our Instagram and Facebook pages, or complete a quick form on our website (singlemomstrong.org) to be entered into a ticket drawing.
THE FINE PRINT: Group size will be limited and we are utilizing a spacious banquet room, which will allow for social distancing. Attendees must sign a COVID liability waiver and understand that they attend at their own risk. This event is subject to cancellation, should health guidelines related to COVID-19 change.

Statistics shows that children of single mothers suffer in a variety of ways and the mothers often find themselves living in poverty and riddled with guilt or frustration. But, we are here to change the statistics. We believe that single mothers and their children do not have to be negatively impacted by this circumstance. In fact, being "single-mom-strong: having grit and determination; refusing to fail", is not detrimental at all... Single Mom Strong exists for the empowerment of single mothers and their children through enrichment, encouragement and educational programs. Funds raised are used to advance our mission.
It is the mission of Single Mom Strong to create a community of single mothers and children in support of one another, while empowering them to be their best selves, through enrichment, encouragement and educational programs.
