Love Your Heart and Go Red: The Mother-Daughter Experience
The Montgomery County (MD) Alumnae Chapter (MCAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. presents "Love Your Heart and Go Red: The Mother-Daughter Experience," an informative and fun-filled community event designed to (1) raise awareness of heart disease and stroke, two of the leading causes of death for women; (2) allow participants to determine their own risk factors for developing these conditions; and (3) encourage them to invest in their heart health by making incremental lifestyle changes. This event, which is part of MCAC’s Journey to Wellness program, will be held in recognition of the American Heart Association’s National Wear Red Day and the Go Red for Women initiative.
Come and enjoy dynamic speakers, health screenings, exhilarating group exercises, healthy snacks, vendors, and more! Mothers are encouraged to share this experience with their daughters. All participants are encouraged to dress casually and wear something RED to show their support. This event is FREE and OPEN to the public. Get your tickets TODAY!
