Shiawassee County Authors' Book Release "A Home for Isabel" Event Brings Awareness to Michigan's Orphan, Foster Care

About this Event

Shiawassee County’s local award-winning author's historical fiction novel, A Home for Isabel: A Story of Faith, Hope & Courage is scheduled for release on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Aviator Jayne’s, Owosso from 1-2:30 PM. Ervin, a decades-long journalist, author of numerous Christian published articles and devotionals, set her orphan-adoption themed story in Michigan’s pioneering 1830s wilderness written under her pen name, Susanna Bell Gregory.

Hosted by Barn Door Publishing LLC, Guest Speaker will be Bethany Christian Services Director of Donor Engagements, Lynne Koss of Grand Rapids. ‘“Love the Children” is the focus for the faith-based event bringing awareness to the orphans and foster children in the care of Bethany Christian Services, Michigan. Rachel Lewis, Lansing’s Director of Donors says, “We’re very excited to be a part of this event.”
