Event description

Description

Re-frame your tired, old love stories, in a new way that brings you more joy and confidence, and declare this new narrative with your whole body, mind, and heart in a final performance, full of humor and grace, with your very own live magical soundtrack accompaniment with musician Aharon Wheels Bolsta.

Relationship workshops - especially the ones that remind you of how you aren’t where you want to be - can be really heavy. It can feel like so much WORK to excavate all your old crap, and you wonder if you’re ever really getting anywhere with it.

This workshop will help you in a safe, supportive space, weave together all the work you’ve already done, and using the technology of laughter, humor, theater, narrative therapy, improvisation, breathwork, vocal work, music, embodiment and connection. It’ll be so fun you won’t even notice you’re “working”!

Broaden your bandwidth, widen your narrative horizons, expand your range and repertoire to live a fuller version of you! This workshop culminates in a (very low-key) final performance on Sunday afternoon to which you can invite your friends and family.

In this Theatre-Therapy Lab, you will learn to:

  • Identify your highest intentions for being held, seen and heard

  • Claim your own authorship and embody new, meaningful love stories

  • Discover, develop, and deliver your new love story

  • Re-open your heart and feel more love flowing in - and out

  • Unblock your imagination and courage to write the next chapter of your love life

  • Recognize the power of being witnessed to help you step beyond fear or shame
