We are delighted to present the second Love and Splendor Workshop this fall: Monday, September 14th thru Thursday, September 17th. Our workshop will take place at the marvelous Greengate Ranch and Vineyards in San Luis Obispo and will be packed with information and inspiration for event planners and designers at every stage of their careers.
The Love and Splendor Workshop will focus on instructing attendees on how to start, nurture and elevate their wedding and event planning and design businesses. Topics covered will include...

WHAT'S INCLUDED:
- Instruction by myself (Angel Swanson) as well as insightful guest sessions by industry experts including film photographer Ryan Ray, editor of Green Wedding Shoes Jen Campbell, Jesi Haack of Jesi Haack Design, Jeni Maus of Found Vintage Rentals, Diana Perrin of Casa de Perrin, Emarie VanGalio of La Tavola Linen, Melody Brandon of Sweet and Saucy, and more to be announced! Instruction will be classroom-style focusing on both the business side and the design side of planning weddings and events.
- 8 wonderful meals (dinner on 9/14, all three meals on 9/15 and 9/16, and breakfast on 9/17) plus plenty of delicious snacks. All food is guaranteed to be memorable, featuring the best of local and seasonal fare. Any food allergies will be taken into account & we will make sure you are very well fed. :)
- A beautiful binder filled with the workshop's curriculum including templates, outlines, sample documents and notes, tips and helpful resources.
- Carefully curated gifts and surprises -- I can't wait to delight each of the attendees with some of my favorite things.
- A stunning setting. The workshop will be set and styled with care and chock full of details that you'd expect at any event of Love & Splendor. Our dear friends from {found} vintage rentals, Casa de Perrin, Theoni Collection and La Tavola Linen will help us set the scene each day.

I am working hard to ensure that you will have plenty of personal attention, interaction with speakers and other attendees, and most of all, a genuine experience that is truly inspiring. OVERALL SCHEDULE:
- Monday PM, September 14th // Check-ins from 2-4p. Opening session at Greengate from 4-5p. Celebratory Welcome Dinner will take place off-site (transportation provided) from 5:30-8p.
- Tuesday, September 15th // Instruction at Greengate beginning at 9a. Special outing from 2:30-4:30p off-site (transportation provided). Themed dinner at Greengate from 5:30-8:30p. All meals & beverages are provided.
- Wednesday, September 16th // Instruction at Greengate from 8:30a-4:30p. Farewell Dinner will take place from 6-10p; cocktail attire is requested. All meals & beverages are provided.
- Thursday, September 17th // Final sessions and farewells. Breakfast is provided on-site at Greengate Ranch.
TUITION: The 2014 Love & Splendor workshop costs $3400 for a private room, $2900 for a shared room & bed. The full amount is due at the time of registration and tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
TRAVEL NOTES: If you are flying in to join us, the closest airport (less than 10 minutes away) is San Luis Obispo. You can also fly into LAX, BUR, SFO, or OAK, approx. 3-4 hours away, depending on traffic. It's a beautiful drive in either direction!
Accommodations are included in your tuition and rooms will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Half of the attendees will stay on-site at Greengate Ranch in handsomely appointed rooms with private bathrooms en suite. The other attendees will stay at the luxurious four-diamond Dolphin Bay Resort, on a bluff overlooking the sparkling Pacific Ocean. Transportation to/from Dolphin Bay will be provided each day. You will be assigned ranch vs. beach resort accommodations in the order your registration is received (preference will be asked upon registration). Private and shared rooms are available at both properties. Both options are absolutely fabulous and have unique amenities.
In order to obtain the discounted shared room/bed rate of $2900, you must register on the same day as your roommate.
