Love is a Place
Join Resound Ensemble for our spring concerts and a very special event: the world premiere of our first original commission, Love is a Place, based on the poem by E.E. Cummings and beautifully expressed by local composer Joshua Saulle (b. 1979). The Classical Revolution sting quartet will accompany us for Ola Gjeilo's powerful Dark Night of the Soul. We will also feature songs arranged by Resound Ensemble members and performed by a small ensemble of singers. An intriguing mix of musical styles, a variety of accompanists and vocal ensembles, and the intimate and gorgeous acoustics at St. Aidan's Church will be sure to lead you to laugh, cry and sigh as you experience some of love's "places" with us!
We are offering this concert on three dates:
Friday, May 31, 8:00pm
Saturday, June 1, 8:00pm
Sunday, June 2, 2:00pm **New matinee concert**
Did you miss the online purchase cut-off? Not sure which concert you can attend? No problem, we will have some tickets for sale at the door - but please arrive early to allow time for processing your cash/check (or plastic if you must). Doors & box office open 30 minutes before show-time!
