National Rural Technology Initiative (NRTI) is a nonpartisan national media & technology initiative for rural and underserved communities navigating technology deserts. Technology Desert is a term created and occurrence researched by Dr. Jeremiah C. Hackley, a term referring to any location where a population is suffering from a lack of access to and engagement of the social and economic benefits of technology available to metropolitan and corporate areas in service. NRTI will assist you with:

NRTI has two sections, rural and underserved for-profit, and rural and underserved non-profit/NGO. It is open to churches, non-profits, community organizations, small municipalities, small businesses, entrepreneurs, and any other qualifying candidates who live and/or operate in technology deserts.
