About this event

We are Love 4 Immigrants, a volunteer-run initiative planning to become an arts movement and nonprofit whose mission is to connect immigrants to their communities, as respected, loved, and heard individuals by sharing their narrative through art and storytelling.

We are having an art exhibition titled:

Love 4 Immigrants’ Un-Weaved Stories

Themes for Artwork:Family + Storytelling + Weaving Memories

A weaving of family memories connecting diverse memories showcasing our common humanity and to continue building solidarity.

Family memories write the story of our collective consciousness. If we connect through stories we can create the fabric of union and love. This fabric has the power to change paradigms and we can learn to extend empathy. These collective stories of artists showcasing memories of what it is like to come to a new country and define what family means to them can be the fiber we need for healing to transition to a state of hope and strength.

Date: Virtual Opening: August 28th (open for 2-3 weeks)

Location: Virtual: Occupy White Wall game & Website

If you love games and want to experience this exhibit in an interactive way, you can create a steam and occupy white walls account to view the exhibit with an avatar.

Alternatively you can view this exhibit on our website through a video tour of the virtual space.

The art mediums you will see are from a variety of mediums but expect visual arts.
