Louisianime 2020-Postponed
Event Information
Description
Dear Louisianime Community,
On behalf of the Louisianime staff, I hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy during this unprecedented time.
We are reaching out to you today to announce that Louisianime will be canceling our 2020 event previously set for June 5-7. Thank you for your patience while we worked to establish a healthy and safe solution for the convention during this pandemic.
Those that have pre-registered for Louisianime will have their tickets automatically transferred to 2021. Louisianime is operated by TetraEvents and all revenue goes back into our events’ operational costs to bring you the best event possible each year. By allowing us to transfer your ticket to 2021, you help us remain financially stable and cover expenses we have already incurred this year. This will help make it possible for us to bring you what we hope will be an even greater experience in 2021.
Hotel rooms reserved through the Louisianime block can be canceled without penalty. Reservations made directly through a hotel or a third party vendor must be canceled directly with that hotel or vendor.
We are working to inform the community as soon as possible. Please bear with us as we continue to work through the information and get it out as quickly as possible to all of those who were impacted and to the many who make this convention possible.
We would like to thank our attendees, staff, volunteers, guests, vendors, artists, and panelists for all the passion and effort you put into this community. There are so many elements that come together to make a convention possible.
We hope that come 2021, we will be in a more stable place and that we may once again gather in this wonderful community you have all helped to create.
Until then, please continue to monitor updates from the CDC, the World Health Organization, and your local government for news and guidance on the pandemic.
Thank you,
Tetra Events Staff
