Event description
We will Walk and Be Loud to bring awareness to domestic and sexual violence! Come help us honor victims and strengthen survivors!

About this Event

The HEARD would like to invite you to LOUD WALK 2019. The event will take place on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at the Riverpark (Amnicola Location). The purpose of this event is to celebrate survivors of, support victims of, and bring awareness to Domestic Violence. According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV), on average, nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States.

The HEARD was started in 2017 by Keosha Brewster, who is a survivor of domestic and sexual violence. This group was birthed to love on women that have and are currently suffering at the hands of someone that was charged with loving them, or have been violated by a strange. The HEARD seeks to liberate individuals that have suffered in silence for years due to the shame and fear domestic violence brings. We will no longer be silenced we will be LOUD and clear about our stance against domestic.

We look forward to seeing you during LOUD WALK 2019. The more supporters and survivors the LOUDER we will be! So get your horns, bells, whistles, tambourines, drums, megaphones, and lets paint the city PURPLE in determination to GET LOUD about domestic violence!
