Lotjpa Yapaneyepuk - Talk Together About Cancer Trials Videos Launch

Come Yarn, Share, and Celebrate

Join us for a special community gathering to launch the Lotjpa Yapaneyepuk videos — powerful stories created by community, for community — to help improve understanding and access to cancer clinical trials for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We are launching three videos:

• What is a clinical trial? - An animated video
  
• Lived experience of cancer trials - An Aboriginal person with lived experience talking about their clinical trial experience
  
• Being seen, being heard: Yarning with health professionals about cancer trials.
  Community members share with health professionals (especially oncologists and clinical trial nurses), what they want during a consultation about clinical trials.

These videos were made possible through many yarning circles in a co-design process with community. This event is a celebration of our collective effort.
