About this event
Calling all Veterans and Active Military who suffer from PTSD or other anxiety disorders. The War Memorial Center has created a series of holistic and creative therapy workshops to help ease and minimize the symptoms of PTSD. Each course is designed with your mental health in mind, learn to strengthen your mental fitness by simply changing your routine. Each class is held here at WMC, a place where you can get outside of your head and find peace in creating. Mural painting is taught by a professional artist from the Arts At Large Group. It’s a collaborative effort with a small group of your peers, who desire the same outcome. It supports emotional healing and creative expression for those living with PTSD. Mural painting will provide you with a sense of community, accomplishment, and personal pride. Supplies, parking, snacks, and refreshments provided.
