Calling all Veterans and Active Military who suffer from PTSD or other anxiety disorders. The War Memorial Center has created a series of holistic and creative therapy workshops to help ease and minimize the symptoms of PTSD. Each course is designed with your mental health in mind, learn to strengthen your mental fitness by simply changing your routine. Each class is held here at WMC, a place where you can get outside of your head and find peace in creating.
Organic gardening is taught by an avid organic gardener with years of thriving crops.
You’ll learn to garden like a pro, what to plant when, how often to water, how to keep bugs away without pesticides, and when to start seedlings.
Gardening supports well-being, reduces stress, promotes a meditative mindset, and build positive habits in your day. Exposure to the outdoors impacts the state of mind, creates a sense of purpose, and connects us with our food.
