Calling all Veterans and Active Military who suffer from PTSD or other anxiety disorders. The War Memorial Center has created a series of holistic and creative therapy workshops to help ease and minimize the symptoms of PTSD. Each course is designed with your mental health in mind, learn to strengthen your mental fitness by simply changing your routine. Each class is held here at WMC, a place where you can get outside of your head and find peace in creating.

Organic cooking is taught by a certified organic chef. We will be discussing the benefits of cooking and meal prepping and the effects gut health on mental health.

Cooking benefits mental health in many ways. You’ll experience feelings of accomplishment, when cooking for yourself and others. Prepping food forces patience, and helps connect us with our food, changes our relationship with food and brings a sense of well-being.

You’ll become healthier when your gut becomes healthier.

All supplies, parking, snacks, and refreshments provided.
