About this Event

Los Angeles Times Ideas Exchange presents award-winning writer Rebecca Solnit in conversation with L.A. Times culture writer Carolina Miranda. Rebecca Solnit is a progressive icon, activist, feminist writer, and authority on everything from politics to gender discrimination. Helping to identify the term “mansplain,” the prolific writer has shed light on significant social issues. This talk will be centered around Solnit’s new book, “Recollections of My Nonexistence: A Memoir.”
