The Science of Scar Formation:
New Technology to minimize Post-Surgical Scars
Current scar management techniques do not effectively address scar formation. This will be a review of new techniques to minimize post-surgical scarring. This presentation will review recently published clinical data on scar management techniques.
After completion of the course, the attendee will learn about recently published clinical data in the field of scar management. The attendee will build awareness of new technologies available to minimize post- surgical scar formation and improve patient outcomes by delivering new, clinically proven technology to minimize post-surgical scar formation.
The Los Angeles Society of Plastic Surgeons is accredited by the Institute for Medical Quality/California Medical Association (IMQ/CMA) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
