The Los Angeles Fire Department will be hosting an orientation session for 14-20 year old youth who are interested in participating in the Cadet Program. This 2 hour session will feature with a Cadet Entry Level Physical Agility Test to qualify for the program:
1. Advancing 1-3/4" firefighter hose with nozzle 100 feet, followed by pulling the 100 feet of hose
2. 2 minute Step Test
3. Carrying 2 rolls of 1-3/4" hose 25 feet.

Those that pass the Physical Agility will then attend second meeting on January 19th from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM which will include a description of the comprehensive program including an explanation of the certification process and Cadet Post Academy.
Please arrive to the orientation in athletic gear and bring your own water/hydration, snacks, and materials to take notes.
