God showed the Church that He wants to be known and loved by all people, religious, cleric and lay people, through St. Ignatius of Loyola. St. Ignatius’ Spiritual Exercises have for centuries been used by many clerics and religious in the Church, longing for intimacy with God, and now God has put them into the hands of the laity.
