Loose Landscapes
This one-day workshop will focus on loose techniques and designs to paint beautiful impressionistic landscapes in watercolor. A super easy way to paint, taking out all the technical perfections of planning out a landscape.
The classroom energy helps to inspire creativity, plus it's just fun! Come and experience the wonders of watercolor!
Supply List
Paper - 140 lb. cold pressed Arches or other artist quality brand paper ~16x20, plus lots of practice pieces.
Brushes
- Assorted Rounds, small to large
- Assorted Mops, medium to large
Other Watercolor Supplies
Must Have:
- Paint palette with plenty of room for mixing color.
- Spray misters (Fine)
- Paper towels
- Pencil (2H Preferred)
- Artist gum erasers
- Old toothbrush
- Ruler
Paints:
Must Have: (Artist Quality Tube Watercolors)
- Assorted colors you like for Landscapes.
A board to put your painting on while you paint. I like to use plexiglass boards a couple inches larger than my paper size.
Two water containers
Please show up 30 minutes early to set up your supplies.
Must be 14 years old or older unless accompanied by an adult.
