Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

Most of your customers, stake-holders and best friends share your values that’s why they support you whether you have the seed of a business idea or are about to take the next step in growing your business. Understanding how to unlock the investment potential of shared values is at the heart of making crowdfunding work for you. But how do you find out if there are any hidden investors in your customer base or network? Could you expand your visibility and reach new advocates for your vision, ones who are able to back their convictions with financial pledges?

We’re pleased to invite you to this lunchtime briefing on crowdfunding basics with business owner and self-confessed social media and marketing geek, Louise Palmer-Masterton who has successfully grown CamYoga from a single studio in 2010 to now four thriving yoga centers and a highly regarded teacher training school. The business was recognised in the Cambridge Business Excellence Awards 2017, winning the Small Business of the Year Category. 2016 also saw Louise launch “Stem + Glory”, Cambridge’s first vegan café, that was funded by a wildly success crowdfunding campaign that amassed just short of £100k in 21 days. The second Stem + Glory location is set to open soon.
