Looking at Football: An Intimate View of a Football Ground
Earlier this year, world leading football photographer, Peter Robinson, photographed St James Park so that its character may be preserved and shared. The HLF-funded project produced a wealth of photographs that offer an intimate view of life in the ground, showing the inherently human side of ‘the beautiful game’.
This event consists of an exhibition of these photographs, alongside a talk with Peter about football photography, the human essence of the medium, and how it captures the hopes and fears of football fans.
The exhibit is also open to all from 11am to 6pm, and no ticket is required at these times.
