In this second of two workshops offered by Jenn Bender, we’ll:

  • Discuss challenges to project management, including examples
  • Cover how to deal with common challenges like: variances from the plan; scope changes and scope creep; bottlenecks; unclear roles
  • How to cultivate project management practices across the team for sustainability, including: quality assurance; accountability; escalation; debriefing; feedback
  • Discuss change management

About the Presenter: Jenn Bender, Jenn H. Bender Consulting

Jenn Bender provides consultation and advisory services to mission-driven organizations interested in assessing and strengthening their operations to enhance their effectiveness, efficiency, and readiness for sustainable growth. Essentially, Jenn works in partnership with organizations to build capacity so they are better positioned to realize their missions and visions. Jenn’s work is informed by her nonprofit leadership experience in quickly growing nonprofit organizations, most recently at Institute for Nonprofit Practice and New Sector Alliance.

Jenn earned an MBA from Babson College, an Ed.M. from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University.
