Description

The Evelyn Jacobs Ortner Center, along with our sponsors are honored to host Cathy Spatz Widom, PhD for her seminar on Long-Term Consequences of Child Abuse and Neglect: Mental Health and Much More.

Dr. Spatz Widom is a Distinguished Professor, Psychology Department at John Jay College. Professor Widom has dedicated her career to the study of the intergenerational transmission of child abuse and neglect. The discussants will be Cindy Christian, MD from CHOP and Richard J. Gelles, PhD of Penn Social Policy & Practice.

The seminar starts at noon on Thursday, February 1, 2018. The event is free, but registration is required. Lunch will be provided.
