Continuing Education Credits

NYSDEC Pesticide applicator recertification credits: See below for credits awarded per category. Daily credit amounts earned for the day will vary depending on afternoon session attended.

ISA Certified Arborist: 2 credits for the morning session, 2 for the nursery session, and 3 for the landscape session. A total of 4 or 5 credits for the day dependent on which afternoon session you attend.

Landscape Architecture: This program offers a total of 5 hours of NYSED (HSW) continuing education units under the subjects of horticulture and resource conservation and management for NYS registered landscape architects. General Session: 2 credit hours, HSW; Landscape Session: 3 credit hours.

CNLP Recertification education credits available for the NYS Nursery & Landscape Association’s Certified Nursery & Landscape Professional Program: 3 for the AM General Session, and 3 each for the Landscape and Nursery Session.

How to earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs): Please read this important message.

Pesticide Applicator Recertification Credits: Participants must sign in before the start of each session, and present their applicator’s license identification card in order to sign-in. A certificate of attendance is given at sign-in of each session and will be stamped at the end of each session. If you fail to present your pesticide applicator’s license (or acceptable photo ID), or if you arrive after the sign-in sheet has been removed, you will not be given a certificate of attendance. Sign-in sheets will be removed a few minutes into the first presentation of each session.

NYS Licensed Landscape Architects: Landscape architects interested in earning CEUs are required to sign in before the start of each session. Sign-in sheets will be removed a few minutes into the second presentation. A certificate of attendance is given at sign-in, and must be stamped at the end of each session. If the sign-in sheet has been removed, you will not be given a certificate of attendance.

CNLP Professionals & ISA Certified Arborists: Participants interested in earning professional credits must be present for the entire workshop. At the end of the workshop, you’ll need to sign an attendance sheet before leaving.
