Welcome to Loneliness Matters - Working Together 1! Join us at the Civic Centre for an event focused on combating loneliness. Let's come together to share experiences, learn from each other, and discuss ways to support those feeling lonely. Loneliness is now acknowledged as the most serious public health problem with implications for peoples' physical and mental wellbeing. This hour long workshop will provide an opportunity to share insights and experience - whether or not you are currently providing activities or services for lonely people. A joint initiative between Community Action and SCDA's Tackling Loneliness Programme
