London Privacy Lab - October 2016 - UK IP Bill Update
On Wednesday, 26 October, we invite you to join us for a lively discussion of the UK IP Bill and the Digital Economy Bill.
Renate Samson from Big Brother Watch will be joining us and we think we'll have a few others speakers joining her for an informal panel like discussion, similar to the one we hosted in June.
Who should attend: If you enjoy talking privacy - so much so that it's related to what you do for a living or how you volunteer your time - this is the event for you.
Privacy Lab brings together people who work in the privacy space from different perspectives - people who may not regularly talk to each other - policy people, techies, activists, and academics at big companies, startups, universities, libraries, NGO's, foundations, civil society and more - that's one of the benefits of attending. Usually, you'll have about an hour on the topic followed by about an hour to talk to each other individually, but since this is more of a group discussion format we may spend more time on the speakers and Q&A.
