London Energy Plan workshop: Non-domestic buildings
Event Information
Description
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE DATE AND LOCATION OF THIS WORKSHOP HAS CHANGED TO THE AFTERNOON OF 22ND JULY 2015 AT THE UCL ENERGY INSTITUTE.
We're very sorry for any inconvenience
This event is one in a series of four workshops where we’re asking for stakeholder views on what we’re putting in the London Energy Plan; the first spatial mapping of the capital’s energy demand, supply and infrastructure to 2050.
Each workshop will provide an overview of the London Energy Plan and then go into detail on one sector/ area. This workshop will focus on non-domestic heating, power and cooling demand, and demand response.
We will be asking for your views on London’s future energy scenarios, and the performance and uptake of technologies in different areas of London. You will get to see the initial maps and datasets, have a chance to input into London’s future energy maps, and meet other stakeholders at a networking lunch.
The London Energy Plan
With London’s population expected to reach 11.3 million by 2050, the London Energy Plan is bringing together existing evidence and data, and creating new data and models to help London to identify the impact of the booming population on our energy infrastructure. It will suggest options for how we can mitigate the impact, whilst keeping costs down and hitting our climate change targets.
