Paul Wood, author of London's Street Trees will be talking about London and Hackney's street trees Followed by a walking tour.

Paul's book is the story of London's street trees in which Hackney's tees take a starring role. In it he says:

"Only a decade or two ago Hackney had relatively few street trees. Now it's so well planted it's hard to see where any more could be crammed in. A quiet transformation has taken place, and the streets of this east end borough are now akin to an Arboretum", says Paul Wood the author of the recently published ‘London’s Street Trees, A Field Guide to the Urban Forest’

I'm thrilled that this book has been written and that Paul has agreed to talk to us in Hackney and also take us on a short walking tour to see some of these trees.
